Mahila Margadarshi is a secular developmental humanitarian Women’s Organization working for the development of women and children, committed to facilitating development issues and individual Human Rights, especially the Right to Identity, social and health inequities, public health concerns and Good Governance through education, community mobilization, networking and advocacy.
The organization has been addressing the issues of health, education, environment and gender base violence, promoting dignity and support for abandoned elderly widowed / separated / divorced / unmarried women and orphaned children in Andhra Pradesh. Our initiatives include facilitating access to Citizenship Rights to ensure access to basic rights including healthcare to marginalized communities, providing educational and skill-enhancement opportunities for underserved children and women.
The organization has adopted the right based approach for work towards socially justified and empowered society, that reflecting local cultural values and practices.
